Premium Upgrade

An exercise in UI, Premium Upgrade is Plusgrade’s initial White Label product which focuses on allowing customers to offer a set amount for an upgrade in a blind auction ahead of schedule. It is the leading Airline Upgrade bidding platform with over 70 airline users and is expanding into the Cruise ship industry.

As many partners were already using the tool but at the same time newer features were being added for certain partners, the existing design needed to accommodate the various permutations of the features as well as be flexible enough for the partners to push their Visual UI on top of the platform.

My Role

As one the UX/UI designers for this product, I worked with the various POs as well as the designers & Program Managers from the partner companies to help implement the Premium Upgrade product with their UI as well as integrate it within their current websites.

The was to deconstruct the existing product into key elements that could be added/removed depending on the feature-suite the partners decided to adopt. The deconstruction also allowed us to also isolate UI components for better integration with the Brand Visual Identity of each partner as well as ease the transition to a mobile UI (as the design in its inception wasn’t responsive)
